A Bay Area native who spent his entire career in the San Francisco market, Dave Padilla got his start as a news intern at KSOL and made his way up to news director and anchor there during his 12-year tenure.
Dave also did morning news with Kim Vestal at KARA in Santa Clara before moving on to KCBS in 1990. At KCBS, Dave served as news anchor and Contra Costa County Bureau Chief. After 26 years at KCBS, Dave wrapped up a 38-year radio career, retiring from broadcasting in December 2016.
