The radio name “Jack Friday” is a clever offshoot of and reference to the iconic radio and television character “Joe Friday” from the show “Dragnet”. As one of the fabled “610 Men” from KFRC’s years as Boss Radio great “The Big 610”, Jack Friday first rocked the bay on KFRC. Jack later rode the airwaves at KBLX, KOIT, KIOI, KYUU, and the later iteration of KFRC’s Oldies station in the late 90’s.
