Over a career that spans four decades, Ed Krampf notably spent 12 years with Clear Channel Communications (later iHeartMedia) in a variety of executive roles, including San Francisco Market Manager, Regional Vice President of Northern California and Senior Vice President of the Western Region.
He later went to work for CBS Radio until 2010, then spent 4 1/2 years with Adelante Media Group as COO of the company and Market Manager for Adelante’s two radio stations and one TV station in Sacramento. Ed was General Manager of KITS (105.3 FM) when the San Francisco station made the switch from “Hot Hits” to “Live 105” in 1986.
Ed also held Vice President/General Manager positions at KBIG-FM and KOST-FM in Southern California. He’s known to be extremely passionate and knowledgeable about Spanish-language radio, and has served as Business Manager and advisor for Mexican radio star Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo. Ed loves everything about baseball, and has played competitively in the Mens Senior Baseball League, appearing in the organization’s annual World Series Tournament. Ed has been married to his wife Kimberly for over 30 years.
