A crowd of more than 200 filled the ballroom at the Alameda Elks Lodge on October 10 to help celebrate the induction of 19 new members of the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame (BARHOF).
With co-masters of ceremonies Lisa Carr and Jack Kulp at the helm, the program included appearances by 17 of this year’s 19 inductees (Foreign Language category inductee Abel de Luna and Regional Market category inductee Bill Bowker were unable to attend), including a video submitted by Sports inductee Duane Kuiper.
A complete video of the event is available on the California Historical Radio Society YouTube channel. Event photos by Colin Snow.
