BARHOF Inductee Doug Harvill 2019

Moving to the Bay Area from CBS Radio’s Sacramento cluster in 2005, Doug Harvill took over CBS Radio’s San Francisco cluster as senior vice president and market manager. During his tenure, he oversaw the conversion of the KFRC-FM signal at 106.9 from an oldies format to a simulcast of KCBS. The move proved instrumental in helping KCBS end the longtime market ratings leadership of KGO.

Doug also oversaw sister stations KLLC (Alice), Now, and Live 105 during his 12 years at the helm. When Entercom acquired CBS Radio in 2017, Doug moved to rival Cumulus Media, running the company’s San Francisco stations KGO, KSFO, KNBR, KFOG and KTCT until 2021.
