Dan Ethen began as a teenage volunteer at KPFA in Berkeley in the 1960’s. His first paying radio job was at KLOK in San Jose, where he worked on-air as well as behind the scenes.
His other credits include memorable work at San Francisco’s KNBR and KFRC before moving to KSRO in Santa Rosa, where he designed and built the station’s “studio in the round“.
Ethen continues to work with the Educational Media Foundation, the nonprofit Christian media ministry.
