Richard Gossett found his love of radio as a fan of Bay Area Top 40 radio. When radio changed, and KSAN rose in significance to the community, Richard changed as well, becoming a popular DJ during KSAN’s free-form era throughout the 1970s.
When KSAN changed to a country music format, he moved on to other stations including KUSF, KTIM, KKCY (“the City”), KQAK, KFOG and KRCB. Richard’s other career was serving as a brewmaster at Anchor Steam Brewing Co in San Francisco.
