KEMR briefly existed as a Bay Area station in two periods (a few days in April 2002 and then from January 2003 to September 2004). Â Owner Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation moved the call letters from KSOL (98.9 FM/San Francisco) to the 105.7 frequency, then reversed course. In September 2004, KEMR became KVVF.
During the time the KEMR call letters were used, the station aired a regional Mexican music format.
The KEMR call letters have most recently been used by an FM station licensed to Moriarty, NM.
