Peter Finch spent more than forty years on Bay Area radio, including 18 years as news director at KFOG.
Finch was known for his Fog Files news feature on the KFOG morning show and continued the concept with Finch Files on KGO.
Peter majored in Broadcast Communications at San Francisco State University. While attending SF State, Finch landed an internship at KMEL. He went on to earn a master’s degree from the University of Colorado in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Finch is also a playwright and has directed many live radio plays for the California Historical Radio Society’s annual Radio Day By The Bay celebration.
