Robert S. (Bob) Kieve purchased 20.76% interest in San Jose’s KLIV (1590 AM) in July 1967, beginning a five-decade run as the owner of one of the most notable independent radio stations in the industry.
In this video, Mr. Kieve reflects on his life in and out of broadcasting. He was elected to the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame in 2007.
