
Radio KEEN’s 45 year history as one of the Bay Area’s most memorable radio stations is being celebrated on Sunday, June 8 from 4-7 PM at San Jose’s History Park.

Named Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame Legendary Station for 2025, KEEN went on the air on June 21, 1947. The station became known as the home of great country and western music, helping shape the careers of numerous country recording stars. KEEN was also the radio home to the Oakland A’s during their run of World Series championships in the 1970’s.
