Ron Fell is well-regarded for his work as the program director and general manager of KNBR (AM and FM) from 1971 through 1975. He was also the editor/owner/publisher of the influential radio trade publication The Gavin Report from 1975 to 1998.
At the Oakland Raiders Radio Network, Fell produced Oakland Raiders radio broadcasts from 1966 to 1982, returning after 22 years in 2004 and staying until 2010. He says he proudly worked with the best: Bill King for sixteen years and Greg Papa for six years.
Away from radio, the San Francisco State University graduate served as president of the Board of Directors for the Golden Gate Regional Center, a state agency providing funding for thousands of Bay Area clients with developmental disabilities.
