Art Lebermann enjoyed a broadcasting career spanning over forty years. Lebermann served as chief engineer at Berkeley’s KRE and spent many years as transmitter engineer for KSFO and KGO.
Lebermann was a co-founder of the Society of Broadcast Engineers Chapter 40 in 1975, served a chairman of the chapter, and was named an SBE Fellow in 2011.
He was a noted radio historian and expert in the repair of vintage receivers and broadcast equipment.
Art Lebermann died in 2024 at age 81.
