Our museum houses several hundred electrical transcriptions (also called “transcription discs”) of radio programs, now being encoded for our website for visitors to enjoy.
The audio transcription disc collection of The California Historical Radio Society is being made available in encoded format. These 16″ discs represent audio history of events and people of Berkeley, the San Francisco Bay area, and the United States.
The facilities, volunteers and donors of The Society made this project possible. Please consider a donation to our non-profit organization to maintain its mission to promote the restoration and preservation of early radio and broadcasting.
