In 1947, KPO became KNBC, which, in turn, became KNBR in 1962. KQW became KCBS in 1949. KLX became KEWB in 1959, then KNEW in 1966. KROW became KABL in 1959 and KQKE in 2004. KJBS became KFAX in 1960. KYA became KOIT in 1983, then became KXLR in July 1985 before changing back to KOIT in January 1986. KLS became KWBR in 1945, KDIA in 1959, KFYI in 1984, returned to KDIA in 1985, then became KMKY in 1998. KRE became KPAT in 1963, then changed back to KRE in 1972 (on its fiftieth anniversary), KBLX in 1986, KBFN in 1989, back to KBLX in 1990, and KVTO in 1994.
