It’s time to vote for your favorite Bay Area radio personalities in the 2020 Sherwood Awards!
Named for the self-proclaimed World’s Greatest Disc Jockey, Don Sherwood (BARHOF 2006), the awards are the “people’s choice” for most popular active personalities in the music, news/talk and sports categories.
Public voting in these categories begins on March 16, 2020, and will continue through July 11, 2020. You do not have to be a member of the California Historical Radio Society (CHRS) in order to vote. You may cast one vote every 24 hours through the close of the voting period.
Because this year’s edition of Radio Day By The Bay has been cancelled, the 2020 Sherwood Award winners will be announced online here on our website, as well as on our Facebook and Twitter pages, on August 22.
Inductees into the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame‘s Class of 2020 will be selected by current members of BARHOF and the California Historical Radio Society, and will also be announced on that same date.

I thought voting was “…through July 11th” – now it says “Voting has now ended for this year’s Sherwood Awards. Winners will be announced at Radio Day By The Bay on July 25.” at just past midnight on 10 July.
