Broadcasting A Wrestling Match On KRE
1938

KRE - Wrestling Match

This view shows a remote broadcast of a wrestling match on Berkeley's KRE, taken from a 1938 station promotional folder. None of the people in the photo are identified. The highly polished remote broadcast amplifier is probably home-made. The microphone is a Western Electric "salt shaker."
