A print ad from the November 10, 1969, edition of the Hayward Daily Review, promoting the new "Buddy & Fran Show" on San Jose's KLOK (1170 AM). Buddy and Fran, at the time, were the hosts of KLOK's weekday morning show (6 to 10 a.m.).

"Buddy" was Buddy Clyde, the nom de radieux of Clyde Hatton, who — if you're following closely — began his local career at KOBY/1550 and was also known as Buddy Hatton on KSFO and KNEW. "Fran" was Fran Marion.
