KYA Radio Oneders - 1967

The 1967 KYA Radio Oneders finished the season 59-1 over their faculty opponents, aided by the presence of future Hall of Famer Rick Barry, who was sitting out the season after attempting to jump leagues from the NBA San Francisco Warriors to the ABA Oakland Oaks. It may have also helped to bring along their own referees...

Back row, left to right: Referee Owen Kashaveroff (El Camino High School athletic director), Jim Myers (KYA salesman), Norm Goldsmith (KYA salesman), Rick Barry (pro basketball star), Don Novitsky (Oceana High School basketball coach), Phil Pruski (KYA salesman), referee Mike Orlich (Jefferson High School athletic director).

Front row, left to right: Sean O'Callaghan (noon to 3 p.m.), Tom Sgro (record promotion man), Bud O'Shea (record promotion man), Johnny Holliday (3 to 6 p.m.), Ed Hider (9 a.m. to noon), Don Delbon (Terranova High School basketball coach).
